Beginning February 17, 2009, registered CE providers will begin submitting electronic rosters for candidates who have completed Texas approved CE courses through the Sircon Compliance Express system.

This new automated CE compliance monitoring system will allow licensees, insurers, and the Department to monitor the status of all licensees' compliance with Texas CE requirements. Additionally, a mandatory fee per reported credit hour of $.75 cents will be collected by all C.E. providers and sent directly to Sircon to handle this processing fee per T.D.I. For more information regarded this process please visit www.sircon.com or contact TDI at 512-463-6169

Compliant completion certificates will be generated automatically for providers, and the hours submitted will be recorded in a "banking" system that will track each individual licensee's progress toward meeting the Department's CE requirement.The Sircon system will also report all non-compliers to the Department for administrative action.

Remember, the fine is $50.00 per credit hour of non-compliance plus TDI can audit a total of two renewals back (4years). Example(1 )If a licensee did not complete 30 hours of c.e. before their renewal/expiration date total fine $1,500.00. Example (2) If a licensee did not complete 30 hours of c.e before their last 2 renewal/expiration dates total fine $3,000.00.
