Course Description:

This course will provide you the information to effectively understand:

• How to reiterate the Texas Department of Insurance requirements for each licensee (by license type) governed by Texas law.
• To be aware of the current rules in place regarding continuing education and the new fine amount of $1,500.00 imposed without exception to any Texas licensee that does not complete their CE credits in the time frame allotted by TDI (before the expiration of their license).
• The various licensing penalties imposed by TDI for various reasons as set forth in their licensing laws.
• The various actions that could result in termination or suspension of your license.
• The difference between various insurance marketing practices.
• How to distinguish between the various actions that may be determined to fall under the Unfair Trade and Claims Settlement Practices Act.
